About The Position
The Maintenance Mechanic will be part of a team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all Baggage Conveyor System (BCS) equipment throughout the airport.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds in small spaces for extended periods of up to 15 minutes, multiple times each day.
- Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
Nice To Haves
- Good mechanical skills.
- Some electrical skills are preferred.
- Prior experience working with mechanical components relating to conveyor systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operation, maintenance, and repair of all Baggage Conveyor System (BCS) equipment throughout the airport.
- Report any issues found that could potentially lead to additional system failures.
- Complete entry level Maintenance Mechanic duties as needed.
