About The Position

Perform a wide range of machine, equipment, and building maintenance, repairs, installations, modifications, and general upkeep operations. Involves millwright, pipefitting, carpentry, electrical, and painting procedures.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and procedures.
• Self-motivated and works well in a team environment.
• Job requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• This position requires the ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization.
• Correctly perform basic math calculations.
• High School or GED required.
• 1-4 years related maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work alone and with team members.

Nice To Haves

• 5S Experience Helpful
• Experience working in Manufacturing/Chemical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, motors, conveyor systems and pneumatic equipment.
• Preventative maintenance.
• Maintain plant facilities and physical structures.
• Assist with design, fabrication, and installation of new equipment.
• Comply with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations and requirements follow the PSM/RMP.
• During the course of job duties, must be able to prevent / contain chemical spills in order to ensure employee safety and protection of the environment.
