About The Position
The Maintenance Mechanic I performs preventive maintenance and general equipment and minor repairs to hospital and district facilities, associated equipment, and systems. The role requires basic knowledge of facility plant operations and equipment, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and willingness to take on-call duties as required with a maximum 30-minute response time. The schedule varies as scheduled and includes 80 hours per pay period at 1.0 FTE.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license.
- Must be insurable as a driver.
- Basic knowledge of facility plant operations and equipment.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to take on-call duties as required with a 30-minute maximum response time.

- Strong mechanical and electrical background.
- Prior hospital experience.
