Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the industrial background (food or chemical preferred), facility maintenance or general mechanical experience in pipefitting, welding, or pump and equipment repair or related experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb ladders and perform duties at elevated heights
Familiar with 110, 240, and 480V 3-phase systems

General computer literacy
Ability to read blueprints/schematics
Must possess strong written and verbal English skills and be able to read and explain technical documentation to others
Must be able to safely use hand tools and equipment for installation, disassembly, and testing of electronic and pneumatic equipment
Must possess the mechanical ability, electrical aptitude, and skills relating to a minimum of one craft within welding, plumbing, pipefitting, or electrical areas

Nice To Haves

Forklift, JLG, and scissor lift experience preferred

Responsibilities

Performs preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting and/or repairs of production and facility equipment
Conducts electrical and mechanical installation, repair, and troubleshooting of motors, instrumentation, and/or controls
Work in accordance with all relevant requirements including, but not limited to GMP, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and internal safety guidelines
Maintains level of housekeeping/sanitation/food safety and safety which meets Company’s standards and guidelines
Perform administrative duties including but not limited to creating and closing work requests using Maintenance management system (SAP)
Responsibilities may include welding, pipefitting, and plumbing work throughout the facility
Attends site training sessions, including, but not limited to hazardous waste training
Excellent attendance, flexibility, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to work performance
Other tasks as assigned
