Requirements
- Commitment and passion to maximizing guest satisfaction in each stage of the guest experience, particularly as it pertains to exceptional standards of maintenance and repair
- Demonstrate willingness/enjoyment to attend to the needs of others
- Outstanding attention to detail - both in regards to maintenance specifications, preventative maintenance and cleaning practices and the level of attention required
- Working knowledge of mechanical equipment and repair
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment and ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and HVAC equipment
- Previous carpentry experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Working knowledge of electrical systems
- Ability to read blue prints and sketching floor plans
- General knowledge of WHMIS and health & safety procedures
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively within a team setting
- Proficient with power and hand tools
- Demonstrate the ability to use the Lockout/Tag out system before performing any maintenance work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively within a team setting
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Maintenance capacity, Electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic experience preferred
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job (i.e. lifting 50lbs, climbing ladders)
- Related College Diploma or the equivalent in education and experience.
- Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment history cards for all machines.
- Plumbing, electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment.
- Monitor and test water treatment operations.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and any additional tasks that may be required and assigned by Supervisors/Management.
