About The Position
Seneca Foods in Janesville, WI is currently seeking a Maintenace Mechanic B - Case & Label to join our team. Help us make our Farm Fresh Goodness Great!
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of all labeling/packing equipment in the Case & Label department.
- Basic skills including use of hand tools, power tools, welder, cutting torch, pneumatics, & hydraulics.
- Basic knowledge of lathe, shop fabricating equipment, and electricity.
- Basic troubleshooting skills including the ability to diagnose breakdowns and repair on a timely basis.
- Have operators certification for lift trucks and man lifts.
Responsibilities
- Assist with adjustment or repair of equipment as needed for efficient operation.
- Assit with preventative maintenance and PM surveys.
- Assist with line changeovers and shift start-ups in a timely manner.
- Assist with fabrication of replacement parts if needed.
- Assist with supervision and training of machine operators.
