About The Position

The Maintenance Manager will work in collaboration with property management to oversee building maintenance functions, budget, and vendor contracts for Johnston Center Residences, an apartment community providing housing and services for special needs or disabled families and individuals. We encourage candidates with lived experience to apply. This is an on-site position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical expertise in one or more building trade.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle.

• Effectively oversee work progress of vendors or outside contractors.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Patch and paint walls, trim, and ceilings.
• Clean, repair, and maintain appliances.
• Prepare units for new residents, including completing necessary turnover work.
• Perform routine plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Manage day-to-day maintenance functions.
• Assist with maintenance budget oversight.
• Coordinate and manage vendor contracts in collaboration with the property management team.
