Requirements

Background or strong interest in equipment maintenance
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of basic safety and power tools
Ability to adapt, stay organized, and work independently
Dependability and flexibility in a fast-paced setting
Clear communication skills (verbal, written, and digital)
Continuous standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping
Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Occasionally working near loud noise, moving parts, high heat, cold, and chemicals
Strong reasoning, memory, math, and language skills required

Responsibilities

Keep machinery and mechanical equipment running smoothly from raw ingredients to finished product
Perform preventative maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
Troubleshoot and repair issues using diagrams, sketches, manuals, and test instruments
Maintain accurate logs and maintenance reports while using the work order system
Coordinate with shift supervisors to quickly address mechanical, electrical, and maintenance needs
Manage and account for tools and spare parts, anticipating future needs
Collaborate with Quality Control to maintain the highest product standards
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, and other equipment safely
Work safely with high-temperature oils and in a fast-paced, wet, oily, and noisy environment
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and communicate effectively with the team
Follow GMPs, food safety requirements, and company policies
Complete other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or upper management
