About The Position

Our Maintenance Clerk will be responsible for the administrative and clerical duties related to the maintenance department. This includes tasks like managing maintenance records, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role may also involve customer service and other general administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with maintenance personnel, vendors, and other employees.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for record keeping and communication.
  • Understanding of basic maintenance principles and terminology is helpful.
  • Proficiency in data entry, record keeping, and general office procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize maintenance records, including work orders, purchase orders, and equipment histories.
  • Schedule maintenance tasks, coordinating with vendors, and communicating with other departments.
  • Ensure that maintenance activities adhere to relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Track and manage spare parts and supplies.
  • Provide support regarding maintenance requests and inquiries.
  • Assist with various administrative duties including tracking when a machine was last serviced, scheduling upcoming service appointments, ordering necessary parts, and updating the maintenance database with current service information.
