About The Position

Snack Innovations, Inc. is expanding its manufacturing footprint and looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and equipment reliability at one of our three production facilities. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to build strong maintenance systems, develop a capable team, reduce downtime, and keep a fast-paced food manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently. We are looking for a proven maintenance leader who combines strong technical knowledge with practical leadership, urgency, accountability, and the ability to create structure in a growing environment. As Maintenance Manager, you will lead maintenance execution, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, MRO, facility support, and team development at one of three plants in Piscataway, NJ. Your work will directly impact production uptime, equipment performance, safety, food quality, operating efficiency, and the plant’s ability to meet production goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a food or consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment
  • 3–5 years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, CMMS, preventive maintenance, MRO, equipment reliability, and root-cause problem solving
  • Experience managing maintenance projects, equipment installations, budgets, vendors, and contractors
  • Working knowledge of GMPs and sanitary design principles
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with Production, Operations, Engineering, and plant leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs across production and facility equipment
  • Strengthen CMMS, MRO, and Operator Asset Care programs to improve reliability and eliminate recurring issues
  • Manage daily breakdowns, maintenance priorities, and response in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Partner closely with Production to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules and ensure work is completed effectively and on time
  • Lead maintenance and engineering projects involving equipment installation, upgrades, modifications, and facility improvements
  • Provide practical technical solutions that improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and maintainability
  • Lead, coach, and develop maintenance supervisors, technicians, and mechanics while building accountability and continuous improvement
  • Maintain strong safety practices and ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations
  • Manage contractors, vendors, maintenance budgets, critical spare parts, and MRO inventory
