About The Position

Eaton’s Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join the team. This role is based at the Sherman, TX manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance is available! The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading a team of maintenance professionals to meet safety, quality and production goals of the facility. In this role, you will provide vision and leadership by planning and directing the efforts of the Maintenance team members to maintain site equipment, instrumentation, utilities, and facilities in compliance with good engineering practices. In addition, this role will support efforts to integrate industry 4.0 technologies to boost plant productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
  • Prior experience as a lead technician, and/or leader of people, especially in a maintenance organization, strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices, including strategy deployment
  • Prior experience with Industrial Machinery, Building Facilities and PLCs
  • Demonstrated TPM and RCM experience
  • Experience with MMS

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and personal development guidance to the maintenance and technical teams.
  • Develop and execute skills assessment and future competency development plan based on current needs and future technology evolution.
  • Coach and develop training plans for all maintenance technicians.
  • Ensure safe and reliable operation of the plant through strict adherence to safe work practices by all maintenance department personnel.
  • Develop preventive maintenance program in conjunction with manufacturing engineering and maintenance staff.
  • Manage plant-wide maintenance maximizing asset reliability, uptime, and cost effectiveness with available resources.
  • Support deploying and execute the division Maintenance across the facility.
  • Use corporation MMS to develop KPI’s and align maintenance resources to improve machine uptime.
  • Utilize and implement TPM CI approach to develop an equipment maintenance strategy to maximize operational efficiency of the equipment by reducing breakdowns, preventing small stops or slow running equipment and prevent defects.
  • Support production teams in process optimization, improvements in area of yields, capacity, defect reduction, and waste minimization.
  • Provide input on quotations regarding machine reliability for Engineering.
  • Support major projects to deploy Industry 4.0 tools & technologies into manufacturing operations utilizing predictive maintenance devices.
  • Assist with Capital Improvement Process including Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Resource allocation, and Project execution.
  • Develop and execute necessary processes / systems needed to effectively preserve, track, and accurately assess fixed asset base.
  • Plan and manage maintenance budget.
