About The Position

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team at our Douglassville facility. This is a floor-driven leadership role in a highly automated plant — ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced production, enjoys solving complex problems, and takes pride in building reliable, efficient systems. In this role, you’ll own the performance of the maintenance function — driving uptime, leading your team, and continuously improving how we maintain and operate our equipment.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have solid work history and a proven track record of success working for industrial manufacturing companies
  • 5+ years as a maintenance supervisor or manager
  • 10+ years in industrial manufacturing maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of: Electrical systems, Hydraulics & pneumatics, Automation & mechanical systems, PLCs and plant automation, ERP systems
  • Proven ability to mentor and train others (mechanical + electrical)
  • Ability to support a three-shift operation

Responsibilities

  • Direct a team of maintenance technicians, parts department and maintenance planning
  • Manage the maintenance department budget and procurement of critical spares
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts to solve complex mechanical & electrical failures
  • Manage capital improvement projects from inception through final completion
  • Coordinate activities and follow up across multiple shifts to ensure continuity and efficiency
  • Directly lead sourcing, procuring, and managing spare parts, tools, and services to ensure operational continuity and minimize downtime.
  • Direct and supervise staff members that will troubleshoot and repair PLC electrical and mechanical issues on new and existing production equipment
  • Plan and oversee daily maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs
  • Manage and train maintenance personnel, ensuring that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Align maintenance schedules, procedures, and spare parts management with the OEM recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of equipment.
  • Plan and lead the annually 6-week equipment rebuild
  • Responsible for maintenance parts inventory including costs, vendor management and MRP.
  • Utilize ERP system to manage and assign workloads.
  • Negotiating vendor contracts for parts and services
