Summary: Manage maintenance of facility and equipment, including preventative maintenance and urgent repair needs. Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm / 8:00 am - 4:00 pm - Shifts may vary (On-Call as needed) Pay: $50,000 - $65,000 based on previous experience

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Plumbing, electrical, building, painting, and heating experience
  • Past experience with building codes and/or construction
  • Past relevant managerial experience
  • Experience with budgeting, reporting, and supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound judgment
  • Ability to problem solve by gathering and analyzing information
  • Ability to handle a crisis situation and react appropriately
  • Flexibility and adaptability

Responsibilities

  • Managing a staff of maintenance technicians and housekeepers (10 staff members).
  • Provides oversight, supervision, training, and hiring to all staff members on the team, i.e., housekeeping tasks, facility cleanliness, and maintenance projects.
  • Completes a variety of remodeling tasks and provides a safe and secure working/living environment for the facility.
  • Informs management regarding facility issues.
  • Handles and/or supervises snow removal and landscaping.
  • Has the responsibility to respond to off-hours facility emergencies/on-call as necessary.
  • Provides Risk Participation at a corporate level.
  • Weekly/Monthly/Yearly reporting as well as budget maintenance.
  • Maintains all applicable Building, NFPA, CARF/Life Safety Codes, and regulations.
  • Completes required trainings and mandatory training hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.
