The Maintenance Manager will work with all departments to ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently. They will also be responsible for and serve as the point of contact for all projects pertaining to the facility. This role is part of the plant's management team and ensures compliance with personal safety and plant quality requirements, customer service goals, and manages/improves labor costs, yields, and supply usage levels. The manager will also ensure compliance with USDA requirements for the production of fully cooked meat products, develop salaried supervisors and hourly associates, analyze situations to provide solutions, and ensure associates abide by all Carl Buddig and Company policies. They will also ensure packaging/processing department associates perform their job duties as outlined and manage/assist in capital projects. Additionally, they will evaluate labor requirements and production rates for potential new business opportunities and oversee maintenance inventory, parts, and materials while working closely with MRO purchasers. The manager will create and implement action items for a clear plan to resolve outstanding issues and minimize equipment/facility failures.
