About The Position

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance operations to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing environment. This role drives equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, continuous improvement initiatives, capital projects, and regulatory compliance while supporting production objectives and delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing management experience.
Two or more years of experience in an ink or chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with long-term, mid-range, and daily maintenance planning and scheduling.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Thorough knowledge of industrial safety requirements and regulatory compliance.
Proven leadership, coaching, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead all maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with Flint Group safety standards and all applicable DOT, OSHA, EPA, and NFPA regulations.
Maximize equipment uptime, reliability, and product quality through preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Support production schedules with a customer-first mindset to meet operational and delivery objectives.
Provide leadership, coaching, and technical support to maintenance personnel and the facility.
Manage maintenance and capital improvement projects from planning through execution.
Develop, implement, and audit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Visual Work Instructions (VWIs).
Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Monitor, analyze, and report key maintenance KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance and asset reliability.
Prioritize, coordinate, and delegate maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining strong communication and emotional intelligence.
Manage maintenance budgets, contractor relationships, spare parts inventory, and equipment lifecycle planning.
