About The Position

The Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance operations within our facility. This leadership position requires a skilled individual with extensive knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems, as well as project management capabilities. The Maintenance Manager will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, while also managing a team of maintenance professionals.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in a maintenance or engineering role is essential.
  • 5-10 years of facilities maintenance experience and team supervision.
  • Strong background in electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery.
  • Ability to coach and counsel employees.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
  • Assign and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all facility and production equipment.
  • Regularly inspect machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and service standards.
  • Ensure quick response and resolution to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems within the production environment.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Interpret and work with schematics to facilitate repairs and installations.
  • Develop and manage maintenance schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records for all required reporting.
  • Participate in hiring and training new maintenance workers.
  • Replace and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of equipment and work areas.
  • Implement and enforce lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols.
  • Stay updated on OSHA and other relevant regulations to ensure compliance.
