Fairgrove Property Management operates in four major Southern California markets and is rapidly expanding across the West. A Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of maintenance technicians and porters assigned to specific regions of properties. Ensuring the rental properties are maintained in excellent condition, both inside and out. The ideal candidate would be a leader, a trainer, self-motivated, highly customer focused, technically skilled, fast moving, and technologically proficient.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in property management or a related field, with customer service experience.
Prior experience as a maintenance supervisor managing a large team.
Strong knowledge of computers and technology including cloud-based software and applications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
Great communication skills.
Organized and able to manage work orders for multiple priorities.
Clean driving record with valid driver’s license.
Dependable transportation.
Provide own tools to complete work orders.

Responsibilities

Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of maintenance and construction activities to ensure smooth operations.
Supervise staff of maintenance technicians and provide constructive feedback.
Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation.
Vendor management and scheduling.
Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations (such as lead based paint, ADA, Fair Housing, HAZCOM programs, and OSHA).
Maintains knowledge of all pertinent laws and EPA/OSHA regulations.
Oversee maintenance and construction billing in coordination with accounting function.
Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.
Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.
Utilize a computer, tablet, and smartphone along with other company provided applications.
Perform other tasks as requested.
