About The Position

The individual selected for this position will assume all duties of Machine Adjuster. This role requires the ability to work well with others, communicate effectively, and possess good decision-making skills. The ideal candidate will desire to be part of a proactive, motivated maintenance team. Responsibilities include setting up machines for different cuts, making adjustments, performing regular daily maintenance, greasing machines, and sharpening blades. The role also involves administrative duties such as completing P.M.'s and logs. The position requires the ability to lift 85 lbs, work at high heights, and tolerate extreme temperatures and humidity. Flexibility with holidays, weekends, and shifts (day, evening, or night) is necessary. A successful background check is required.

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to apply common sense
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Ability to work in cool temperatures (around 40 degrees)
• Ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day
• Ability to multitask and work quickly
• Must be a team player and be willing to work close to other employees at some stations (less than 3 feet apart)
• Must have good communication skills
• Good hand and eye coordination required
• Must complete a successful background check
