About The Position

ATI is seeking a Maintenance Leader to join our Specialty Rolled Products group for our Brackenridge, PA facility. In this role, a Maintenance Leader will be responsible for leading and coordinating the work of employees who repair and maintain equipment and infrastructure. In addition, you will plan, schedule, order parts and manage repairs to equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a technical field
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends to complete special projects
  • Willingness to respond to calls 24 hours a day, when required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with resolving issues to root cause and ability to implement corrective actions
  • Knowledge and maintenance of rotating equipment
  • Experience with Dust Collectors & Baghouses
  • Understanding of environmental compliance
  • Knowledge of and experience with Electric Overhead Cranes
  • Ability to read and comprehend equipment drawings
  • Experience with predictive technologies as applied to equipment reliability
  • Electrical aptitude is a plus
  • Strong leadership skills with all mechanical and electrical maintenance craft disciplines
  • Short- and long-term planning skillset of small to large scope equipment repairs and rebuilds
  • Ability to navigate and utilize all programs in the Microsoft Office Software bundle
  • Candidates should have a strong work ethic, the ability to work as part of a team, good communication and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Experience with metals processing
  • Experience working in a Melt Shop environment
  • Experience navigating and using of Maximo (CMMS)
  • Supervisory experience in a technical or manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical and mechanical or electrical background
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software packages
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision of hourly employees
  • Planning maintenance work around production schedules, identifying, requesting and locating critical spare parts, coordinating repairs with contractors
  • Trouble shooting electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment and accessing required work to assure accuracy in scope to facilitate efficient work planning in a world class maintenance organization
