About The Position

This position is responsible for the execution and support of all maintenance activities which will achieve the desired results in quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale. Responsibilities include technical activities on shift and assigned areas. The Maintenance Lead ensures the activities of the Maintenance Planners and Maintenance group achieves, meets, or exceeds assigned duties to ensure that plant equipment is maintained at levels consistent with company specifications. The position monitors performance against maintenance budget. The Maintenance Lead supports breakdown elimination by leading daily maintenance execution, improving equipment reliability, and driving fast, effective response to equipment failures. This role is expected to coordinate work, support troubleshooting, identify recurring loss patterns, and help improve equipment uptime through strong technical leadership and communication.

Requirements

A Minimum of a High school diploma.
Attendance, prior experience and/or education and past job performance.
BA/BS in Engineering or related field or comparable experience is required.
Minimum 3-5 yrs. experience in plant engineering/maintenance/mfg. engineering and production is required.
Possess an understanding of ammonia, electrical, facility, mechanical, and utility operations.
Demonstrated ability to successfully motivate and coach others.
Excellent communication and follow-through skills.
Strong technical knowledge.

Being on feet for extended periods.
Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and machinery according to the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program.
Ensuring all products manufactured comply with the Quality Assurance Program and policies.
Following safety instructions and keeping self and others away from harm.
Adhering to LOTO policy and procedures.
