About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering reliable equipment performance through expert troubleshooting, assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems, aiming to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective selection and use of tools, machinery, and resources, thereby increasing productivity and reducing errors. A key aspect of the role involves upholding strict safety standards by confidently handling electrical and industrial energy sources, proactively identifying hazards, and taking immediate action to prevent incidents. You will also serve as a technical resource and informal leader, coordinating team efforts, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and strengthening overall team capability. The position requires quick adaptation to shifting production demands and changing manufacturing conditions, maintaining performance under pressure. You will champion Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) excellence by reporting risks, using proper PPE, correcting hazards, and fostering a culture of accountability and environmental responsibility. Additionally, you will drive quality through precise work aligned with technical documentation, supporting failure analysis, conducting inspections, and improving preventive maintenance systems. Finally, you will contribute to improved delivery and operational outcomes by strategically scheduling maintenance, reducing constraints, solving process issues, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives like TPM.
