About The Position

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. They offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans. The Maintenance Lead is responsible for maintaining the physical plants, grounds, and ensuring all equipment is in good working repair and order to provide a safe, attractive, and enjoyable living environment for the individuals served. This role also involves distributing workflow and providing leadership and guidance to Maintenance Worker(s).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of maintenance or electrical experience
  • Working knowledge and ability to handle all maintenance and electrical equipment
  • Current contractor license as required by state.
  • Travel as needed

Responsibilities

  • Distributes and monitors the flow of work for Maintenance Worker(s).
  • Provides training and technical assistance to assigned worker(s) as needed.
  • Assists supervisor in assuring that assigned employees are provided with appropriate resources, materials, and methods. Relays work instruction from the supervisor.
  • Maintains ongoing preventative maintenance program.
  • Repairs and maintains kitchen, housekeeping, and other mechanical equipment, including heating and air conditioning units, electrical and plumbing fixtures, and laundry equipment.
  • Inspects and repairs all damages to hallways, walls, ceilings, floors, roofs, and rooms. Paints and refinishes building surfaces.
  • Orders and maintains necessary maintenance supplies. Provides maintenance of all tools and equipment.
  • Maintains fire alarm system, including smoke and heat detectors, fire pull. Assists in disaster plans as appropriate.
  • Maintains appliance motors, room exhaust fans, pumps and miscellaneous equipment on a monthly basis or as recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Monitors and assists in basic maintenance of facility vehicles.
  • Maintains operational records, data and monitors and enforces observance of safety regulations.
  • Performs other related duties and activities as required.
