About The Position

This role is for a Maintenance Lead - Internal. In addition to regular role responsibilities, the Maintenance Lead will be responsible for completing all online and in-person trainings, staying up-to-date on applicable trainings, and ensuring equipment is maintained. This includes preventive maintenance, minor and major repairs, and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment. The role also involves maintaining organized work areas and keeping digital records up-to-date. Flexibility in working hours is required.

Requirements

• Must be recommended by the General Manager to apply for this position.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven experience in equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent on-time record.
• Having a sense of urgency while maintaining a friendly & courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete all online trainings, pass the online test, and complete in-person training per merit.
• Remain up-to-date on applicable trainings pertaining to their tier and associated trainings as new trainings are launched or updated.
• Responsible for the cleaning and organization of the backroom of the car wash, including but not limited to tools, work bench, spare parts, chemical organization, and overall cleaning.
• Responsible for all the equipment Preventive Maintenance, including but not limited to greasing bearings, oil changes, belt replacements, filter cleanings, and other items on the PM Checklist.
• Ensure proper tension and smooth operation of the conveyor by conducting proper conveyor checks.
• Responsible for keeping checklists and work orders on MaintainX up-to-date with accurate information pertaining to any PM or repair work orders.
• Responsible for completing minor repairs such as bearings, shocks, spindles, oil changes, solenoids and valves.
• Responsible for some of the larger repairs with or without a Maintenance Technician if needed, such as wrap replacement, assisting with blowers, Top Brush Repair, and other maintenance items.
