About The Position

This role is responsible for completing Preventative Maintenance for assigned areas, and potentially others as requested. The position also involves setting up the floor in preparation for production in their respective areas or anywhere else assistance is needed. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, take initiative, and be capable of following orders even under high-stress situations to prevent downtime. Some computer experience is optimal for completing tasks such as PMs, work orders, and Vector training.

Requirements

  • Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
  • Works well independently and with others.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • An ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Capable of working in awkward positions such as on your back, bent over, etc. for prolonged periods of time
  • Being able to work in the cold and heat
  • Able to lift at least 60 pounds
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative while on the job.
  • Capable of following orders even under high stress situations such as maydays in order to prevent downtime.
  • Some experience with computers would also be optimal in order to complete pms, workorders, vector training etc.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach clean, and service machinery.
  • Must be able to visually inspect machines.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Completing Preventative Maintenance for assigned area, as well as perhaps others if asked to do so
  • Setting up the floor in preparation for production in their respective areas or anywhere else they are asked to help
  • Completing PMs, workorders, vector training etc.
