About The Position

This position will assist journeymen-level mechanical maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Our world class Global Manufacturing Training program provides paid hands-on experiences and classroom instruction in order to prepare you for your next promotion.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience
Eligible for employment in the US
At least three (3) years of work experience in any one of the following mechanical disciplines: PIPEFITTING
Must be willing to work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection))
Must undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills
Must undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment
Must undergo an job related health assessment as a condition of employment
Must submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment
Must be willing to work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
Must be willing to work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification
Must be willing to work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis
Must wear required safety equipment

Nice To Haves

Associates degree or certification(s) in any of the following mechanical disciplines: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, WELDING, or PIPEFITTING
A minimum of 3 years work experience in any one of the following mechanical disciplines: PIPEFITTING
Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Perform welding or brazing as needed
Perform field measurements and installations as needed
Assemble and install pipes, and valves according to lay-out plan, blueprints and other drawings
Fabricate structural materials and pipes as needed
Conduct pressure testing to ensure integrity
Understand specifications and regulations related to plumbing and piping systems
Other duties as assigned
