About The Position

Temporary position for six (6) months, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role based on performance and operational needs. The Condominium Association is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance / Janitorial Technician to support the daily upkeep and overall appearance of the property. This position combines general cleaning responsibilities with basic maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents and guests.

Requirements

Reliable and detail-oriented
Ability to perform general cleaning duties
Ability to perform basic drywall repairs
Ability to perform minor concrete repairs
Ability to handle basic electrical repairs
Ability to perform basic plumbing repairs
Ability to assist with preventative maintenance
Ability to follow safety procedures and building policies
Must be within 30 minutes of the Fort Lauderdale area

Responsibilities

Perform general janitorial duties, including cleaning common areas, amenity spaces, offices, restrooms, elevators, and other shared areas
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the property
Perform basic drywall repairs, including patching and touch-ups
Assist with minor concrete repairs and surface touch-up work
Handle basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting (e.g., lighting, minor fixtures)
Perform basic plumbing repairs and routine maintenance
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and supply needs to management promptly
Help maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of the property
Work collaboratively with management and team members to address daily operational needs
Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and building policies
Respond to routine maintenance and cleaning priorities as needed
