About The Position

Our Lady of Grace Parish and School is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance & Janitor to perform various cleaning and maintenance tasks. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the church, parish hall, classrooms, and play areas. The position requires the ability to work independently and perform moderate to heavy manual labor. The successful applicant will be responsible for trash removal, bathroom cleaning, general janitorial duties, and basic handy work. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with a pay rate of $19/hr.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to be self-sufficient and perform outlined tasks with little or no supervision.
• Must pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Prior electrical/maintenance/custodial/technology experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Dump all trash from church, parish hall, classrooms, and play areas. Change plastic liners.
• Sweep, mop bathrooms, change toilet paper, and clean sinks, toilets, and urinals.
• Perform miscellaneous cleaning around the school and/or Parish, such as wiping down lunch tables and blowing off campus.
• Perform handy work around the school, including changing light fixtures, moving furniture, and cleaning spillage.
• Order materials/supplies as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
