About The Position
We’re hiring a reliable Janitor to keep a busy machine shop clean, safe, and running smoothly. If you can stay productive, work independently, and handle an industrial environment, this is for you.
Requirements
- Operates forklift
- Strong work ethic & steady pace
- Dependable, punctual, self‑motivated
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable around oils, coolants, metal dust
- Knows how to handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Able to wear PPE (glasses, gloves, steel‑toe boots)
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, scrub floors (oil, grease, coolant cleanup)
- Remove metal shavings & industrial waste
- Empty trash/recycling
- Clean restrooms, break areas & shop workstations
- Wipe down machine exteriors (no machine operation)
- Use floor scrubbers, pressure washers & industrial vacuums
- Follow OSHA & safety rules
- Keep supplies stocked
