This position is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including lubing equipment, basic plumbing, basic electrical, refrigeration preventative maintenance, and other building systems. The role also involves managing maintenance parts, tools, and MRO inventory, including receiving, labeling, stocking, and organizing parts. The clerk will track usage, returns, and reorder levels, source parts, obtain vendor quotes, create purchase orders, and follow up on shipments. Collaboration with technicians and the Maintenance Manager is key for forecasting needs. Responsibilities include performing cycle counts, maintaining vendor records, warranties, and purchasing documentation, and ensuring the maintenance shop is clean, safe, and organized. The role also includes ordering supplies and materials for repairs and maintenance, and performing other related duties as assigned.
