About The Position
We are looking for a motivated individual currently studying maintenance or a similar program to join our hotel Le Germain Québec as a Maintenance Trainee. This fall internship opportunity, starting in September 2026, will allow you to gain practical experience in the market by participating in the various tasks of the maintenance department's preventive maintenance program. Your mantra will be 'What can I do for you?' as you contribute to the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel under the direct supervision of the maintenance manager.
Requirements
- Currently a student in a maintenance, mechanical or similar program
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Very high attention to detail
- Organized, able to work in a team environment and manage various workloads.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel under the direct supervision of the maintenance manager.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines.
- Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Move up and down stairs, and/or ladder.
- Other related tasks
