About The Position
We are looking for a motivated student currently studying maintenance or a similar program to join our team as a Maintenance Trainee. This internship offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in a hotel maintenance department. The trainee will participate in the various tasks of the preventive maintenance program under the direct supervision of the maintenance manager.
Requirements
- Currently a student in a maintenance, mechanical or similar program
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Very high attention to detail
- Organized, able to work in a team environment and manage various workloads.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel under the direct supervision of the maintenance manager.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines.
- Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Move up and down stairs, and/or ladder.
- Other related tasks
