CQC is currently seeking a Maintenance Intern for its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Watertown, WI. This role involves performing a wide variety of maintenance work to maintain equipment, building, and grounds in accordance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. The work requires a general knowledge of various trades and systems, including mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC, with an emphasis on applying electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

Requirements

High School Diploma.
General mechanical aptitude.
Ability to speak and write in English.
Advanced knowledge of how to operate a PC.
Must have acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license.
Basic Technical Skills (Pneumatic, Electrical & Mechanical).
Interpersonal skills - acts in a dignified and professional manner to provide exceptional customer service at all levels within the organization.
Good decision making and problem solving skills.
Good technical aptitude.
Good time management skills.
Conceptual thinking.

Nice To Haves

Enrolled in or having completed maintenance-related degree is preferred.
Technical Skills (Preferred): Automation, Robotics, HVAC, Metalwork, and Hydraulic.

Responsibilities

Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs manufacturing equipment and performs routine preventative maintenance functions as scheduled or directed.
Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
Works with other employees and contractors safely and efficiently.
Performs necessary duties to improve and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) system in regards to routine maintenance, MRO (maintenance, repairs, and operations), and information management.
Sets up and operates machine tools such as grinder & drill press to repair machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
Completes and maintains all company-required performance and maintenance paperwork, records, and documents.
