About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This posting is for Maintenance Intern position at the Clarksville, AR Plant. This Internship will last for one year.

Requirements

Must be graduated or enrolled in an Industrial Maintenance program.
Must provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
Must be willing to lift 70 lbs. periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis.
Must be willing to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.
Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
All applicants must be graduated or enrolled in an Industrial Maintenance program.
Experience and education must be listed on the application or on an attached resume.
Document specific areas of study as related to maintenance education.

Responsibilities

Maintain and promote the Tyson Safety culture.
Receive Training and experience in Maintenance to start your career.
Perform various duties as required/assigned.
Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production.
Set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.
Learn about industrial maintenance in a fast-paced, high demand environment.
Work on equipment.
Learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system.
Communicate with other Team Members, producers, USDA personnel and drivers.
Make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
Lift 70 lbs. periodically throughout the shift on a daily basis.
Work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.
Complete all required training for the job.
Practice safety standards, policies, and procedures.
