About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Dardanelle Complex Safety Goal is Zero Accidents.

Requirements

Must be able to work in outside temperatures ranging from cold to hot and be exposed to exterior environment occasionally which may include rain, snow, wind, etc.
Can be dusty, damp, humid, wet, with a high concentration of allergens.
Must have the ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours a day along with the ability to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend and stoop occasionally.
Must be able to lift in excess of 40 lbs., climb stairs and ladders.
Must be able to comprehend oral and written instruction.
Must have a minimum of a year maintenance experience.
Must provide own hand tools.
Must have at least 3 months seniority.
Must have no more than 5 attendance points at the time of the job posting.
Must not have received a Written/Warning Suspension in past 3 months.
6 month maintenance/mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Handling work orders to include electrical, welding, fabricating, troubleshooting, and general repairs of lines, conveyors, and machines.
Making rounds and documenting system conditions (i.e. temperatures, pressure, inspections, etc.) and maintaining acceptable tolerance ranges.
Reading, interpreting, and understanding drawings, sketches, and prints related to the maintenance and repair of processing equipment.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
