What You’ll Do Perform advanced preventive and predictive maintenance on production, packaging, utility, mill, and facility equipment Maintain and update MP‑2 maintenance records; track equipment performance; coordinate parts procurement Support all site maintenance across buildings, grounds, and equipment Assist with employee training, coaching, and promoting safe work practices Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation Execute emergency procedures and complete required documentation Perform other duties as assigned What You Need Required: High school diploma/GED and one of the following: Technical associate degree (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, automation, etc.) 3+ years hands‑on mechanical, electrical, or maintenance experience Demonstrated proficiency in all Maintenance I Mechanic requirements Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime Preferred: 3+ years leadership experience Experience in food manufacturing maintenance Ability to read blueprints and schematics Welding experience (MIG, TIG, stick) Knowledge of power transmission components and machining tools Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulated lifts Relevant military technical training Minnesota State Boiler License and respirator certification Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs; assistance required for anything above 50 lbs Stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, climb ladders, and use foot pedals for extended periods Work in dusty, cold, hot, humid, confined, or elevated environments Wear a respirator when required Distinguish sounds and visually identify equipment/components Richardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of a competitive salary, flexible benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, paid holidays, and training and career development opportunities.
