About The Position

This role is responsible for performing maintenance services to ensure a smooth-running operation. The position involves a variety of tasks related to the upkeep and repair of plant equipment, machinery, and facilities.

Requirements

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
1 to 3 years of mechanical and electrical experience
Strong mechanical background
High level of organizational skills
Prior experience with limited electrical
Capable of wearing a respirator, hardhat, and safety glasses

Responsibilities

Comply with all Company policies and procedures, including the Substance Abuse policy.
Adhere to all safety and operational practices.
Participate in the ALL4Zero Safety Program.
Maintain preventive maintenance according to a daily checklist and make adjustments to plant equipment and machinery.
Perform mechanical repairs on batching equipment, unloading equipment, rolling stock, and company vehicles.
Perform routine maintenance within the site, such as changing light bulbs and ballasts.
Perform construction repairs, valve replacements, and outlet changes.
Perform plumbing repairs.
Perform minimal electrical tasks.
Perform fabrication and welding as needed for production and special projects.
Change A/C filters (unless too time-consuming, currently outsourced).
Complete work orders and various other tracking devices.
Maintain housekeeping throughout the plant's areas.
Work effectively in teams and independently.
Work any shift.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Perform and understand LOTO processes and ensure optimal procedures are followed for meeting company objectives.
