This role is responsible for completing work orders, preventive maintenance sheets, logs, and other documentation. The Maintenance II technician will diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools. They will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on various equipment including material handling equipment, forklifts, dock equipment, facility equipment, conveyor equipment, manufacturing equipment, grounds, building equipment, and PIT (Powered Industrial Truck). The position requires the ability to learn and utilize software such as CMMS Systems and Graphical Interfaces. Adherence to all department and company standards, operating procedures, and safety requirements is essential. The role involves working closely with other technicians for troubleshooting and ensuring proper operation of facility-related equipment. The position also includes performing plumbing repairs and light construction work such as drywall, framing, and painting. Experience in material handling equipment, mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and/or installation is required. The job involves working at heights from ladders and aerial lifts, working outdoors in non-climate-controlled environments, and completing additional tasks as requested by leadership. The role requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods, continuous use of hands, twisting, bending, and stooping, and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
