About The Position

This role is responsible for responding to and attending to guest repair requests. This includes fixing minor plumbing issues such as unclogging drains, plunging toilets, and repairing leaky spigots and faucets. The position also involves performing miscellaneous minor repairs like tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls. Additionally, the role requires performing preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, and maintaining daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities. Communication with guests/customers may be necessary to resolve maintenance issues. The role also requires adherence to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing safety training and certifications. Ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets are also key aspects of the role. The position involves welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing guests’ service needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities. Speaking with others using clear and professional language, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees are also expected. Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards is crucial. Physical requirements include reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines is necessary. The ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance is required. Moving up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders, and grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight are also part of the job duties. Other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors may also be assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
