About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment, including conveyor and hydraulic systems, bearings, gear boxes, motors, shredder, eddy current, and baler. The position requires MIG and stick welding (7018), changing liners, grates, and hammers. The job involves working in both outdoor and indoor environments, performing minor cleanup, and assisting other maintenance and production personnel during scheduled repair projects. Safety is paramount, and candidates must be able to uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards, as well as follow company and OSHA safety procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Ability to work standing or walking for up to 10 hours per day.

Nice To Haves

• 1-year previous maintenance/welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all equipment including but not limited to conveyor and hydraulic systems, bearings, gear boxes, motors, shredder, eddy current, baler, etc.
• MIG welding/stick welding using 7018
• Change liners, grates, hammers, etc.
• Work in outdoor and indoor environments.
• Minor cleanup and other duties as assigned
• Assist other maintenance and production personnel during scheduled repair projects
• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
