About The Position

This role involves the maintenance of all facilities and production-related equipment. The position has multiple levels: Entry Level, Level 1, and Level 2, with increasing responsibilities and required skills at each level.

Requirements

• Be able to work all scheduled hours including Holidays, Weekends, etc.
• Be on call as needed and as scheduled.
• Occasionally travel by car locally to pick up parts or apparatus to be used in Maintenance or installation of equipment and facilities.
• Internal forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic building and equipment repairs.
• Perform basic rigging.
• Move equipment.
• Put spare parts away.
• Understand basic electric and hydraulic symbols.
• Perform basic use of hand tools.
• Perform equipment preventive maintenance.
• Drive a forklift (internal certification required).
• Clean up oil and refill oil in machines.
• Document all work using a work order system.
• Use multi-meters.
• Change heater bands.
• Pull and change screws and tips.
• Read electrical schematics.
• Read pneumatic schematics.
• Read hydraulic schematics.
• Change hydraulic valves.
• Call suppliers for spare parts and prices.
• Identify different types of voltages.
• Perform basic welding.
• Safely and properly use Oxygen and Acetylene torch.
• Troubleshoot auxiliary equipment.
• Become LOTO authorized user certified.
• Troubleshoot production-related machines.
• Read ladder diagrams.
• Troubleshoot all types of sensors.
