About The Position

Repairs, maintains and performs preventative maintenance duties on building heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and similar mechanical systems; assists with general maintenance activities such as electrical, carpentry, grounds, etc. as needed.

Requirements

High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma
Equivalent of four (4) years of full-time heating, ventilation and air conditioning experience under a journey-level HVAC mechanic, equivalent to training provided in an apprenticeship program.
Apprenticeship training in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning mechanics or training gained by the completion of technical courses in heating, ventilation and air conditioning mechanics at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services may be substituted for the above training on a year for year basis.
Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
