About The Position

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking reliable and motivated Maintenance/Janitorial Staff to help keep its facilities safe, sanitary, and welcoming for patients, clients, and employees. The role includes cleaning and disinfecting indoor spaces, maintaining exterior grounds, carrying out minor repairs, monitoring building safety systems, and managing supplies. Work takes place indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced healthcare setting, with exposure to weather and cleaning chemicals. Training is provided for maintenance or janitorial work. An annual TB test is required. Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization.

The position pays $21.30 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday; some Saturdays may be required. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Annual TB test required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintenance or janitorial experience preferred; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of floors, bathrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Disinfect surfaces and properly dispose of biohazard and general waste.
• Maintain yard and exterior areas, including mowing, trimming, and debris and snow removal.
• Perform minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, and lighting repairs.
• Monitor building safety systems, including smoke alarms, lighting, and ventilation.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Follow all safety and health guidelines.
