About The Position

This role involves performing basic and complex electrical/hoist maintenance tasks, installing, repairing, and maintaining all in-house hoists, bridge cranes, and their support systems, including related wiring or plumbing. The technician will also be responsible for filling out inspection forms, ordering parts, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to safely operate lift trucks, and safely work in areas of lift truck traffic.
Must be able to drive a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT guidelines.

Responsibilities

Perform basic and complex electrical/hoist maintenance related tasks and know the proper technical requirements and methods needed to complete these tasks.
Install, repair, and maintain all in-house hoist.
Install, maintain, and repair bridge cranes and their support systems.
Install related wiring or plumbing for hoist systems.
Fill out necessary inspection forms and work orders.
Order parts necessary for above equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S).
Comply with all applicable occupational Environmental, Health, and Safety standards, as well as Crown's safety rules and regulations for each task performed. To prevent the risk of injury, report all unsafe conditions and do not perform any unsafe acts.
Perform other related duties and assigned.
