About The Position

Christian Health has an exciting opportunity for a full-time, Maintenance Helper to join our Maintenance department. The Maintenance Helper will be responsible for assisting all Maintenance personnel with minor repairs in all trade disciplines. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of the Christian Health Care Center. The schedule for this position is 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Six (6) months related experience preferred.
Valid Drivers License required.
Basic computer skills.
Demonstrates compliance with the CHCC ASPIRE Standards of Performance.

Responsibilities

Cleans various maintenance areas, including office and shop.
Coordinates use of specialized maintenance tools and equipment.
Picks up and delivers parts and supplies as required for the maintenance department.
Assists all other technicians in all trade disciplines.
Cleans CH vehicles & equipment.
Moves furniture and other related equipment.
Assists groundskeepers.
Performs minor repairs such as light bulb replacement, unclogging toilets and sinks, and hanging pictures.
Performs some preventive maintenance functions such as filter changes, cleaning, and vehicle PMs.
Keeps an inventory of vehicle parts (bulbs, wipers, fluids, etc.).
Assists with snow removal.
