About The Position

Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- PLC troubleshooting — connect, navigate logic, monitor I/O, identify faults
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and safety circuits
- Proven ability to lead people and coordinate troubleshooting
- Calm, sound decision-making under pressure
Nice To Haves
- Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, Studio 5000)
- FANUC robots — teach pendant, alarm recovery, basic programming
- HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks
- Prior leadership or supervisory role in industrial maintenance
- Root cause analysis and corrective action experience
- Technical degree, industrial cert, or equivalent training
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct maintenance technicians across production, PM, and downtime events
- Assign work, set priorities, and hold the team accountable to completion
- Organize and drive troubleshooting during equipment failures — calmly and decisively
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, and automated systems
- Use PLC software to navigate logic, monitor I/O, and diagnose equipment faults
- Escalate appropriately to Controls, Engineering, Tooling, or vendors when needed
- Ensure full compliance with LOTO, safety requirements, and maintenance standards
- Drive root cause analysis on recurring failures and implement permanent fixes
- Review downtime trends to identify equipment reliability improvements
- Develop technicians through coaching and hands-on troubleshooting support
- Identify training gaps across PLC, robotics, electrical, and mechanical skills
- Communicate equipment status and shift issues clearly to management and other shifts
