About The Position

Seeking an energetic, responsible, and dependable maintenance technician to work 35 hours per week at a housing facility in Antrim. Must be organized, self-motivated, and have proven proficiency with basic painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. Under direction, will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds. Must have a valid driver's license and be available for on-call.

Requirements

• high school diploma or equivalent
• willingness to perform any task that is required (i.e., janitorial, gardening, etc.)
• good work safety habits
• good communication skills
• ability to interact with a diverse population
• valid driver's license
• available for on-call

Nice To Haves

• familiarity with maintenance related software, including Yardi Mobile

Responsibilities

• clean vacant units, interior spaces, and grounds
• ensures that vacant units are turned over in a timely fashion
• grounds keeping, landscaping, and snow removal
• paint building interiors and associated prep-work
• miscellaneous carpentry repairs
• appliance repairs
• repair or replace plumbing fixtures
• change locks
• maintain supplies and records
• solicit bids for major repairs, purchases, or contracts
