About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.

Requirements

Willingness to complete all required training.
1 year of industrial maintenance experience or education.
Ability to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
Knowledge in areas of welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and other maintenance-related areas.
Ability to learn Tyson SAP software.
Ability to read and write where required.
Ability to communicate with management and co-workers.
Ability to process paperwork necessary to the position.
Ability to use math as needed for work-related computations.
Willingness to lift, push, pull up to 70 lbs.
Willingness to climb stairs and ladders on a daily basis.
Willingness to work in cold environments (ranging from -10 to 80 degrees), wet conditions, slippery floors, concrete floors, and loud noise levels requiring hearing protection.
Willingness to work on feet for 8 to 12 hours.
Must provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
