This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing machinery to keep equipment running. It includes performing preventative maintenance on all equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves identifying all necessary parts, supplies, and services for equipment maintenance in the assigned area and completing work orders within established deadlines to minimize downtime and achieve production goals. The job requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, reaching, rotating, walking, climbing, bending, and squatting throughout the shift. The work environment can be cold, hot, wet, dusty, and noisy. Basic hand and power tools, including drills, grinders, drill press, band saws, and multi-meters, must be used.
