About The Position

General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. This role requires setting up, adjusting, and breaking down production line machinery. The position also involves learning Tyson SAP software for work orders and daily documentation, performing math-related computations for machinery and fluid capacities, and communicating equipment repair status clearly to management and team members. The role requires the ability to work on your feet for 12 hours and complete all required training.

Requirements

At least 6 months of industrial maintenance experience within the last 12 months or verifiable schooling in a relevant industrial maintenance trade in lieu of experience.
Ability to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.
Ability to read and write.
Ability to use math for work-related computations.
Ability to lift 70 lbs. with assistance on a daily basis.
Ability to work on your feet for 12 hours.
Willingness to complete all required training.
Ability to communicate clearly with Upper Management and team members via phone, in person, and in writing regarding the status of equipment repairs.
Ability to use Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Ladders, Fall Protection, and Lock Out Tag Out.
