The Maintenance Generalist will monitor equipment during production and make any necessary repairs or adjustments. This role involves documenting corrections, performing preventive maintenance on weekends, and rebuilding equipment as required. The Maintenance Generalist will also assist with the installation of new equipment and provide maintenance support throughout the entire facility. Responsibilities include greasing, changing oil, and cleaning various plant equipment, as well as monitoring equipment and computer boards. Troubleshooting mechanical problems using detailed schematics and blueprints is a key part of the job. The role may require working other shifts when necessary and a strong understanding and adherence to safety rules like Lockout/Tagout and OSHA standards.
